Terms of Use for FREE Wi-Fi in Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street

By using "Hondori FREE Wi-Fi", you will be deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions.

  1. Article 1　Purpose
    These terms and conditions apply to stores operated by the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as "Stores") or facilities operated by the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as "Facilities"). The purpose of this agreement is to improve the convenience of visitors to the stores or facilities operated by the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). Individual customers who use the Service are hereinafter referred to as "Users".
  2. Article 2　Application of the Terms
    In order to use the Service, the User must agree to these Terms. When a User starts to use the Service, it shall be deemed that the User has agreed to all the contents of these Terms.
  3. Article 3　Contents of the Service
    The Service is provided by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "NTT West") to provide users with Internet access.
    To use the Service, you must agree to the Terms of Use stipulated by NTT West in conjunction with these Terms of Use.

  4. Article 4　How to Use
    This service is provided to users of stores in the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street or facilities in the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street.
    The service allows users to connect to the Internet using the wireless LAN connection function of their smartphones, tablets, and computers.
    There is no charge for using this service. However, users are responsible for paying for any paid services on the Internet.
    This service uses encryption to improve security.
    There is no limit to the number of times you can use this service in a day.
  5. Article 5　Usage Record
    In order to check the usage and unauthorized access, the connection status to the service and terminal-specific information (not including personal information) will be recorded.
  6. Article 6　Prohibited Matters
    The following acts are prohibited in the use of this service.
    Actions that infringe or may infringe on the copyrights, property, privacy, or other rights of Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street facilities or third parties.
    Actions that cause or may cause disadvantage or damage to the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association, stores or facilities in the shopping center, or third parties.
    Actions that slander or defame the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association, stores or facilities within the shopping center, or third parties.
    Any action that unlawfully collects, discloses, or leaks information held by the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association, stores or facilities within the shopping center, or a third party.
    Actions that are or may be offensive to public order and morals, or actions that provide information that is offensive to public order and morals to others.
    Criminal acts or acts that lead to or may lead to criminal acts.
    Acts that use or provide harmful programs such as computer viruses through or in connection with the service.
    Acts of sending, inducing, or triggering the sending of a large number of e-mails to a specific or unspecified number of people for the purpose of mail order sales, multilevel marketing transactions, business offer inducement sales transactions, or other purposes.
    Actions that violate or may violate the Act on the Prohibition of Unauthorized Computer Access.
    Actions that violate or may violate laws, regulations, or ordinances. Acts of organized use by corporations, etc.
    Acts that violate these Terms of Use.
  7. Article 7　Change, suspension, or discontinuation of this service
    If the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association deems it necessary, the service may be changed, suspended, or abolished without notice to users.
  8. Article 8　Disclaimers
    This service does not respond to individual inquiries regarding the settings or connection of smartphones, tablets, computers, etc. owned by users.
    The service does not guarantee the connection or speed depending on the signal or line conditions.
    There is no guarantee of any information obtained through the Internet connection provided by this service.
    In no event will the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association be liable for any damages incurred by users in connection with the provision of this service, damages resulting from the inability to use this service, or any other damages.
  9. Article 9　Changes to the Terms of Use, etc.
    The content of these terms of use is subject to change without the consent of users and without prior notice.
    If you use the Service after any changes have been made to these Terms, you will be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
  10. Article 10　Compensation for Damages
    The user shall bear the burden and responsibility for any damage caused by the user's use of this service, and the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Association shall not be held liable for any compensation.
    In the event that the Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street Promotion Association suffers damage due to a user's violation of these terms, the user shall bear that damage.
  11. Article 11　Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
    The Hiroshima District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance for any disputes related to these Terms.
  12. These Terms of Use shall come into effect on March 1, 2021.
